The new PL-1 Fit offers some fantastic changes, designed to upgrade both the performance and comfort of New Balances top-end running styles.. Changes include: • A higher heel, for a greater difference in heel-to-toe height: by tilting the foot slightly forward, the heel through the footstrike is greatly improved • Revised arch and heel fit: the fit is gender specific (even narrower heel for women) and a greater arch presence for improved comfort. • Revised toe box fit: The toe box is slightly less deep, and tapered from the lateral side, for a preferred fit in multiple aspects. Two new shoes that will feature the preferred fit: The 1063 New Balance's premier neutral cushion shoe combines the new PL-1 last with ultimate comfort.
