New For 2010
“Women’s Only” Heart Mini Marathon 5K Training Program

This “Women’s Only” Training Program is for anyone interested in training for the Heart Mini Marathon’s 5K race to be held on Sunday, March 28th. This program is open to runners and walkers of all levels and is a great way to train with an organized group for a terrific event.

The program will begin on Saturday, February 6th at 9:00am at our Glendale Running Spot location. We will meet every Saturday thru race day, alternating between our Glendale & Loveland Running Spot locations.

Cost of the program will be $30 and will include a technical Running Spot shirt & socks.

Fit Happens Walking Program Forming Soon!

This group is recommended for these individuals wishing to complement their current weight loss program with exercise.

You are:
  • in a physician-led or organized weight loss program
  • a Bariatric Pre-Op or Post-OP patient (Spouse or friend welcome to join with you)

Each walking level will be based on time rather than distance.

New Walking Groups will form April 5th, July 5th and October 4th.

Informational Meeting
When: Monday, March 1 & March 8, 2010 at 7:00pm
Location: Running Spot in O'Bryonville

12-week Walking Program meets on Monday's from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Anderson Mercy Health Plex and various park locations.

Cost for the initial program is $110 and $60 to continue after the initial program.
